bSECISearch - a search and prediction program for bacterial SECIS elements

The bSECISearch program predicts candidate bacterial SECIS (selenocysteine insertion sequence) elements and their ORFs in a query genome or nucleotide sequence.

Consensus bacterial SECIS structure model:
      Apical loop location:   minimum start site       maximum end site
      Apical loop length:   minimum       maximum
      Upper-stem length:    minimum       maximum
      Minimum free energy <    kcal/mol
Choose this if bSECIS in 3'-UTR is also considered (Sec-UGA is very close to the stop codon)
